When we first started, a fellow agency founder in sustainability told us that our evidence-backed, ROI focused approach would never work in the impact space.
But we’d seen too many businesses of all sizes burning their budget, harming their sales and limiting their impact by following bad ‘purpose-led’ comms advice, that actually triggered the attitude/behaviour gap and cost them conversions.
So we decided to bring behavioural science to sustainability.
And now our approach has received national recognition from some of the marketing industry’s most influential players:
Our Senior Managing Partner Sian Conway-Wood has been named in this year’s Performance Marketing World’s 100 Powerlist as the ‘E-commerce Ethicist‘!
Judged by industry peers from some of the world’s biggest companies (like Microsoft), the PMW 100 Powerlist names the top 100 performance marketing professionals that have made the biggest positive changes for the industry over the past year.
Sian was recognised as a ‘funnel fortifier’ and for her ‘sustainability captaincy’.
The judges celebrated our innovative approach to our 2022 #ShopEthicalInstead campaign, a Black Friday alternative run in partnership with Ecologi, which increased sales for ethical brands by 18% and planted 5,858 trees.
There was praise for our pro bono commitment too. Sian and fellow Managing Partner Dr. Andrew Lumsden-Groom are on track to donate over 192 hours of pro bono marketing and strategic support this year, to charities, startups and social enterprises, with a priority on female founders, social justice organisations and environmental causes.
One judge commented that they were ‘highly impressed with how Sian was delivering “solid results across the marketing mix” at a full service agency’.
